The Story: Backshop came about as the brainchild of Jim Flaherty, a recognized innovator in bringing process improvements to the CMBS market. The application was the first of its kind, a hosted, database driven powerful tool that replaced the industry standard practice of impractical Excel spreadsheets. My role in this long term project has encompassed usability, programming in Javascript, C#, tSQL as well as HTML5 development of a mobile app. We are currently exploring social media marketing strategies, and in mid-2013 saw a 300% increase in web traffic to the CMBS website.
The Story: A trusted partner of small up-and-coming hardware developers to some of the largest companies in the world, GRL combines recognized industry experts, high performance test equipment, automated test solutions, and convenient locations to provide the utmost in customer service and robust, user-friendly tools. Together with their customers they overcome challenges with designing and validating early stage products and new connectivity technologies. My role with GRL is as a marketing materials designer, editor, front-end developer and consultant to their Wordpress based site. I also provide assistance with SEO & usability concerns.

The Story: Blue Star IG is a non-profit composed of a group of influencial, experienced experts in the law enforcement & immigration community. Their focus is on assisting with honest comprehensive immigration services to properly prepare and file the required documentation for legal resident status. My role with BSIG is as a technical consultant on web and online technologies including their Wordpress-based marketing site, security and SEO concerns. By studying various data sources, we are focusing on ensuring that those clients who need BSIG's help most will be able to have access to all of the web-based services they will offer.

The Story: MXCOMMAND is the culmination of the dreams of a father & son team, both with extensive experience in the Fire Response industry. Their idea was to develop a suite of applications that could run on mobile platforms to help Fire & other first responders when dealing with command and control situations in on-site emergency situations. My role in the development of the products was a consultant on usability requirements & design, as well as web layout for their marketing website. Their suite continues in development and a limited-function, training module app is available in the Apple store for free.
